Gaming PolicyApproved 5/31/2016 and 6/27/2017 The Public Library of Anniston Calhoun County will provide patrons with the opportunity to use the library’s gaming systems. Patrons wishing to utilize the gaming equipment must act in accordance with the existing library policies as well as the additional policies listed here. Failure to comply will result in a loss of gaming privileges. The Public Library of Anniston-Calhoun County is not responsible for any loss or damage suffered by the patron’s use of the library’s gaming system(s). By using the library’s gaming equipment the patron is agreeing to abide by the Gaming Rules, which are as follows: Gaming Rules Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult to use the gaming equipment. Patrons will not attempt to disconnect, remove, or otherwise alter the arrangement of equipment in the gaming area. Anyone tampering with equipment in any manner will result in the loss of gaming privileges for the day. Malfunction or defects in the equipment or system should be reported immediately to staff. Patrons may be held financially responsible for broken, damaged, or dysfunctional equipment caused by misuse. Gaming availability is limited and may not be available at all times the library is open. Gaming time limits are at the sole discretion of library staff. Disruptive behavior, including foul language, will result in the patron’s loss of gaming privileges for a length of time determined by the library staff member. Patrons who do not treat library property with care and/or repeatedly violate Gaming Rules may have their gaming and library privileges revoked. Revocation of gaming and library privileges are at the sole discretion of library staff members. To play the HTC Vive Virtual Reality System, a signed copy of the Virtual Reality Release of Liability form must be on file. Approved 5/31/2016 and 6/27/2017 |
